Although rare, you may experience an issue as you attempt to download and install the Qbox Client/Explorer. The good news is that most, if not all of these issues can be resolved by the user themselves. We have listed the common installation errors and their resolutions in this document for your convenience. With that said, you may always contact Qbox Support for further assistance.
Qbox has a continuous ping cycle. A communication or server error can occur if there is a temporary glitch in the internet connection and will usually clear if you just restart your Qbox Explorer.
If the file was locked and syncing did not start after the file was closed, please check the following:
- If your Sync mode is set to Manual, you need to click the ‘Sync Now’ button.
- The file could still be open by the QuickBooks process running in the background.
- If the file is located on a server, the file could be opened by a process running on the server.
